1. Who We Are

Hercue is a longevity and aesthetics clinic located at Seidengasse 17, 8001 Zürich, Switzerland. We operate the website at hercue.ch and process personal data in connection with our clinical and administrative activities.

This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG / nDSG) and, where applicable, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

Contact information: Name, email address, telephone number, and any other information you voluntarily provide when contacting us.

Clinical information: Medical history, treatment records, diagnostic results, and other health-related information you share with us in the context of a consultation or treatment. This constitutes sensitive personal data under both the nDSG and GDPR.

Website usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and duration of visit. This information is collected through standard web server logs. We do not use tracking pixels or third-party advertising cookies.

3. Why We Process Your Data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to enquiries and book consultations
  • To provide clinical consultations and treatments
  • To maintain clinical records as required by Swiss medical law
  • To send you information about your treatment, follow-up care, and relevant updates at Hercue (with your consent)
  • To comply with legal obligations, including Swiss healthcare regulations and Swiss data protection law

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Under the GDPR (applicable to clients in the European Economic Area), we process your data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance — to fulfil a consultation or treatment you have requested
  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable Swiss and European healthcare law
  • Consent — for marketing communications and any processing beyond what is strictly necessary for clinical care
  • Legitimate interests — for internal administration and clinic operations, where your rights and interests do not override ours

For processing of sensitive personal data (health information), we rely on explicit consent and the exception for healthcare provision under Article 9(2)(h) GDPR.

5. Data Retention

We retain clinical records for the minimum period required by Swiss cantonal and federal healthcare law, currently a minimum of 10 years from the date of the last clinical contact.

Contact information for non-clients who have enquired about our services is retained for a maximum of 2 years unless you have consented to longer retention.

6. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Clinical data is stored in secure, access-controlled systems accessible only to authorised Hercue staff.

Under the nDSG and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
